Salt

Stoneware, multiple glazes, H28 x W28cM

Originally inspired by an old rusting RNLI boat abandoned on the shore of Ringhaddy, Strangford lough, and attributed to the seaside corrosive nature of salt. Salt on your skin has healing properties too and although it turns metal to rust green and eats into boat hulls, a number of wild swimmers leave the salt on their skin for the rest of the day.
